![]() ![]() That's more like £40 in my estimation, and that's still pushing it. On Virtual Console N64 games were £9, and GC/Wii games were £15. That's fine, but with all being said, it doesn't justify the price tag. How about a little booklet with production artwork? A poster? Even just a laminated slipcase? Anything to give the physical customer more value for money and to make this release more exclusive.Īs for the software itself, I understand that they haven't updated the games (beyond minimal QoL improvements) as they're being represented in the way that people remember them. Taking into account the RRP of £50, the product really should be doing more to celebrate these games. but I still wouldn’t mind seeing it later on. When you look back at the old All-Stars, even having 4 games instead of these 3, you can breeze through them all in a day or two. Theres a whole lotta gameplay to be had on that $60 cartridge. Mario games really hold up, even not remastered. I’m sure they’re saving it for another collection or something. Well, when I beat Galaxy and wanna play Galaxy 2, guess I’ll dig out my Wii U. Gonna be nice to play these on Switch though, and not dig out my Wii U. If you think I’m asking for too much, I’ve bought some killer Switch games that came with all of that. Can’t wait to redeem my chump change amount of gold coins off of the game card. ohh look! No booklet, no stickers, no cloth, no patches or anything! Not even a little commemorative card that thanks you for buying the game! At least it has reverse artwork. This video had to exist? If anything, it makes me regret my physical preorder. It may turn out that for playing on a TV/monitor, Wii might actually remain the definitive way to play the Galaxy games on official hardware) (Edit: someone mentioned you can also control the cursor with the controller when using the pro controller - this is an even worse situation! Controlling the cursor with an analogue stick is much less fluid and more cumbersome than with a pointer/cursor. I’m surprised no one seems to be talking about this actually. It’s great to have cleaner graphics, but not at the sacrifice of gameplay. If this is the case (and I can’t see how it could be any other way), this will actually have an inferior and less intuitive control scheme to the Wii version. ![]() This means that when playing Galaxy on a TV/monitor, you’ll have to keep recentering or adjusting the cursor a la Skyward sword. I don’t mind that the look of the games hasn’t been changed - I think the original feel of them would be altered too much with graphical overhalls.ī: The pointer on the joycons is not absolute, but relative due to it being gyro based as opposed to the Wii’s IR sensor bar. I’m really looking forward to this & think the price is fine for the games. ![]()
